A new home for Curious Minds
Curious Minds empowers girls who are passionate, high performers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to explore their full potential, through a six-month hands-on extension and mentoring program with female STEM professionals.
The new website will welcome applications from interested students and STEM Coaches as well as broadcast achievements and stories from Curious Minds alumni.
Now in its seventh year, Curious Minds has engaged with hundreds of high school girls across regional and rural Australia. As a result, students overwhelmingly indicate an increase in confidence and interest in STEM, with most students saying they are considering studying STEM at university.
Curious Minds is an initiative funded by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, and is jointly delivered by Australian Science Innovations and Australian Maths Trust. The Australian National University is the University partner of Curious Minds.
