The Junior Science Olympiad Training Squad aims to support these students to develop their science knowledge through a three-month online program.
Students will be guided through a self-paced modules and have access to one-on-one support from our program leaders. The Junior Science Olympiad Training Squad is a challenging but enriching program that supports young students to continue to develop their love of science and prepare for future Olympiad exams.
The Junior Science Olympiad Training Squad is an independent program that works collaboratively with the student’s science teacher and school to challenge and enrich the student.
The Junior Science Olympiad Training Squad is designed to support students from regional, rural and low-socioeconomic areas.
Applications are by invitation only. Students must have sat the Junior Science Olympiad in June 2023 to be eligible for selection.
Costs may change each year. Students will be notified of the total cost upon invitation. In 2022, the total cost of participation was $75.
The Junior Science Olympiad Training Squad is an online program.
The Junior Science Olympiad Training Squad covers content across science up to a year ten level across all disciplines.
Students who complete the Junior Science Olympiad Training Squad are well equipped to tackle the Junior Science Olympiad Exams. Students may also get further chances to attend science enrichment opportunities, such as visits to Canberra and special online talks, as they arise.
