We would like to thank everyone who helped the team achieve this incredible result. Thank you to…
- The Program Director, Deputy Program Directors, tutors, volunteers and team behind the scenes.
- The students and all the schools and teachers who supported the ASO Exam and programs last year!
- All the families and friends for supporting such remarkable young people.
- The Team who have worked hard and achieved so much.
Heidi Gong | St Peter’s Collegiate Girls School
Heidi’s favourite discipline is physics because it describes the macroscopic phenomena observed in daily life. They loved the opportunity to meet other students passionate about physics, and cannot wait to attempt the challenging exams!
James Brough | Brisbane Grammar School
James is excited to learn more about the world and meet people from across the world. He’s interested in our understanding of the universe and electromagnetism.
Ian Lai | Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics & Technology
Ian is excited to immerse himself in practical experiments and opportunities, and is inspired by the perseverance and achievement that comes with problem solving and practical knowledge in physics questions.
Houlai Zhou | Sydney Grammar School
Houlai is interested in science, particularly physics, because he is fascinated by the ability to predict and understand parts of the world that seem incredibly complex and often counterintuitive.
Eason Yang | Trinity Grammar School
Eason loved using the ANU’s facilities to conduct experiments, collaborate with new friends. His favourite science is physics because it can be applied to a wide range of scientific ideas, from electrons to planets!
Joel Lee | James Ruse Agricultural High School
Joel loved the opportunity to understand complex and exciting physics at Summer School. He can’t wait to meet with competitors from other countries to learn more about how the world around us works.
Emma Wong | Brisbane Girls Grammar School
Emma loved the experience of talking and learning with like-minded students from across Australia during Summer School. Physics is Emma’s favourite scientific discipline because it explains how the world around us works.
David Zhu | North Sydney Boys High School
Physics sparked David’s interest after learning how many mathematical tools help us to understand the physical phenomena within our macroscopic worlds and microscopic quantum interactions.
We wish them all the best in the future and hope to see more of these young scientists!
