Any personal information collected from students, which may include personal details, and details of participation in ASI activities is treated by ASI according to this policy...

ASI and its employees may use or disclose personal information in the administration and performance of ASI's activities, including the publication of a student's results if the student has achieved a prize or outstanding result. ASI will not disclose personal information without the student's consent unless required or authorised by law.

Students often request verification of a result or reissue of a certificate in later life and results are stored indefinitely for these purposes for the benefit of the student, once satisfactory evidence of identity is provided.

When you look at the Australian Science Innovations Inc. web site our server makes a record of your visit and logs the following information:

  • your browser's internet address;
  • the date and time of your visit to the site;
  • the pages you accessed and documents downloaded;
  • the previous site visited; and
  • the type of browser you are using;

ASI uses this information for statistical purposes and for system administration tasks to maintain this service.
